Postage and Handling Charges
- The default option shown in the checkout cart is LOCAL PICKUP. However, while pickup is available by arrangement from Cherrybrook in North West Sydney, postage is always available too!
- All postage will be at cost, as we cannot offer both great pricing and flat-rate postage.
- We re-use and recycle packaging wherever possible. 12×12 orders are sent in a new Pizza box to keep items safe. If you would like your 12×12 paper to be cut down to fit a satchel or envelope, eg 6×12, 6×6, 4×6, just make a request in your PayPal comment box, specifying your preferred sizing.
Payment Options
- Payment options are PayPal and Direct Deposit.
- For PayPal orders, you can pay for the products upon checkout, and we will send you a second PayPal invoice once your order is picked and weighed, and this is paid in the same way as the product invoice. Your order will be dispatched after the postage & packing invoice is paid. This is the fastest method.
- If you are sure you know which size pre-paid satchel (small, medium, large) your order will need, you can choose it from the Postage section. If your order is over the maximum weight or won’t physically fit the chosen satchel, you will be sent a PayPal invoice for the difference up to the next satchel size. If your order fits in a smaller satchel, you will receive a refund of the difference.
- For Direct Deposit orders, after you check out, your order will be picked and weighed, and we will contact you with the total including postage and packing costs, and provide account details for payment. Orders will be held for a maximum of 5 working days awaiting payment.
Postage Options and Important Information
- New “If it packs, it posts” Australia Post Parcels – any weight up to 5kg can be posted, as long as it fits within the satchel.
Current postage prices (July 2023) are:
- Small – up to 5kg $10.90 Dimensions 220mm x 355mm. This is the old 500g size satchel.
- Medium – up to 5kg $14.80 Dimensions: 390 x 270mm. This is larger than the old 1kg satchel, best value!
- Large – up to 5kg $18.65 Dimensions: 415mm x 315mm. This is the old 3kg size satchel.
- Extra Large – up to 5kg $22.45 Dimensions: 440mm x 510mm. This is the old 5kg satchel.
- Postage by parcel includes tracking, which in my experience sometimes works well, and other times… We keep tracking stickers with your order details so if there is a delay/problem we can look them up.
- Postage at letter rates can be applied to items that are thin (less than 20mm) and flexible.
- Satchel postage includes some insurance, normal parcel post can be sent registered for an additional charge of $4 on request.
- Bulky items may be charged based on their cubic weight, depending on the whim of the post office. We will do our best to estimate using the Australia Post Postage Calculator , and if we overquote we will refund the difference.
- International Orders – we are happy to send that hard-to-find item overseas, please send us a message and we will calculate a postage estimate. It takes a day or two longer than local orders. Payment is via PayPal for Goods and Services for products and postage combined.
