Here at Craft Clearance from the outset I was wanting to make sure people didn’t pay more for postage than what it actually cost. So, that was the logic behind the slightly clunky process of ordering and getting a separate postage invoice once your order was packed and postage was known. Then, I tried to simplify things by adding a range of Aussie Post prepaid satchels to add to your order in one step, since it is not too hard to guess which size might be right for your order. But, even though there is lots of info around the site about how things work and what to do, it seems many visitors don’t get the message and either get confused and abandon their carts or have to wait until I can provide individual instructions 🙁 . Online shopping has changed a lot since we’ve been operating, so maybe it’s time for us to simplify things.
So – your input is requested. If there was an option for flat rate postage would you prefer this? Local pickup would still be available, and some bulky items would be excluded, when I can work out how!
